Mrs. Henry Vande Voorn passed away at her home north of Carmel Monday night at 7:30 o'clock, due to a heart disease.

Elizabeth Petronella (Remmerde) Vande Voorn was 71 years of age. She has been living In this vicinity for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband, and three children, a son in Lester, a daughter at Cedar Falls, and a daughter north of Carmel.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the home and at the Carmel Reformed Church, the Reverend William Rottschaefer officiating. Interment will be made in the Carmel Cemetery.
