From the Sioux Center News, November 29, 1962:

Funeral services were held Monday in the American Reformed church at Worthington, Minn., for Mrs. Wm. Dykema, nee Henrietta Kamerman, who passed away at a Worthington hospital November 23, after an illness of two months.

She was born in Sioux Center August 30, 1890. She married Wm. Dykema on March 26, 1919 and a year later they moved to Bigelow, Minn.,where they farmed until 14 years ago, when they retired to Worthington.

Survivors including the widower are a daughter, Beatrice (Mrs. John Groendyk) of Bigelow, Minn., a son, Kenneth of Reading, Minn., and six grandchildren. Also one brother, Ben Kamerman of Sioux Center.

Mrs. William Dykema

Funeral services were held here today for Mrs. William Dykema, 72, 307 West Okabena St., who died Friday at the local hospital where she had been the past nine weeks.

Services were at 1:30 at the Benson Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. from the American Reformed church, with the Rev. Herman Harmelink, Woodstock, officiating. Interment was in Ransom Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Dykema was born Henrietta Kamerman, daughter of Cornelius and Gertrude Kamerman, Aug. 30, 1890 at Sioux Center, Iowa. She and William Dykema were married March 26, 1919 at Bigelow.

They lived at Sioux Center until 1947 when they moved to a farm near Reading. After two years there, they moved into Worthington, where she had since made her home.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Kenneth, Reading; one daughter, Mrs. John Groendyke (Beatrice), Bigelow; six grandchildren; and one brother, Ben Kamerman, Sioux Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
