Mrs. Cornelia Vande Steeg (Mrs. John J.) died March 14, 1970 at the age if 74 years in Orange City Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Vande Steeg was born, Cornelia Heemstra, at Orange City, Iowa on October 11, 1895. She married John J. Vande Steeg on November 5, 1930.

Surviving are two sons, John of Jefferson, Iowa and Russell of Sepulchral, California. Four grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband on December 17, 1966 and by a daughter, Joanne, November 18, 1937. She also leaves six brothers.
