Henry Vander Schoor Called

Henry Vander Schoor, who had been suffering from ill health for several years passed beyond at his home in Orange City on Monday afternoon, January 5th.

He had tried in vain to obtain relief at Rochester and also at Mt. Lake, Michigan and suddenly took a turn for the worse Sunday, passing away Monday afternoon.

Mr. Vander Schoor had been out of active business for over a year. He owned the restaurant across from the hotel and during the past year had delegated the management to his assistant, John May.

The funeral will be held this Thursday at 1 P.M. from the house and at 2 o'clock from the First Reformed Church, Reverend John Engelsman officiating.

Deceased leaves a wife, Elizabeth (Popma) Vander Schoor and two children, Magdalene and Vernon also his mother who has been staying with her daughter Mrs. Jsaac Spear of Milford, a brother B. Vander Schoor of Sheldon, four nephews, Ed, Ira and Henry Schwartz of Edgerton, Minnesota and Walter Popma of Cherokee.

Mr. Vander Schoor was 48 years old.
