Mrs. Andrew Vander Stoep of Ireton Is Dead

Word was received in Ireton Sunday morning of the death of Mrs. Andrew Vander Stoep at a hospital in Sioux City where she had been taken for medical treatment.

The news of her death was a severe shock to the community as not many knew she was ill.

The funeral services were held Wednesday from the home near Maurice, the Holland minister of the town having charge. At the church Reverend Niel Stewart delivered the sermon. The remains were interred in the Newkirk Cemetery.

Wilmina leaves to mourn her demise, a sorrowing husband, two daughters and a son besides a host of friends. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved ones.

Note: Wilmina Vander Stoep was the daughter of Jan and Aaltje (Langstraat) Blom.
