Funeral services for Mrs. Martin Vander Meer, nee Jennie Punt were held in the First Reformed Church. Reverend Brunsting had charge of the services.

She leaves to mourn, her husband; one daughter, Harriet; her parents, Maartin and Kaatje(Van Dommele) Punt; three sisters, Mrs. Peter Ellerbroek of Sheldon, Cora Punt at home, and Mrs. Tony Hulstein of Sheldon and one brother, Neal M. Punt of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Kaatje Punt is still very ill and was unable to attend the funeral of her daughter.
