SHELDON WOMAN, 99, DIES IN HOSPITAL

Mrs. John Vander Lee, age 99, of Sheldon, died September 2 at the Sheldon Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, September 5 in the First Reformed Church of Boyden. The Reverend Sylvester Moths officiated. Burial was in the Boyden Cemetery.

Mrs. Vander Lee, the former Antonia Burgraaf, was born November 26, 1874, in the Netherlands. She was married in 1899 in The Netherlands. They came to the United States in 1914 and farmed in the Boyden Sheldon area.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Horton (Ann) Jacobsma of Hospers and Mrs. Al (Sophia) Dykhuizen of Sheldon; two sons, Simon of Lake Wilson, Minnesota and Tunis of Sheldon; 17 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister in the Netherlands.
