Research note: Lambert Roetman born 29 Nov 1838 Zwollerkerspel, Overijssel Netherlands, died 28 Dec 1920 Hull, Iowa. Married 1862 to Jentje Last in Zwollerkerspel. . Parents were Albert Gerrtz Roetmen 1800-1881 and Truigjin Zwiers De Leeuw 1806-1895. Children – Gertrude 1863, John 1864, Jacobje 1867 Albertje 1869, Albert 1971, Jantje 1873, Geesje 1875, Aaltje 1878, and Gerrit 1880.

L. Roetman father of Mrs. Horling and grandfather of L. R. and Lammert Kooiker, and Mrs. Gerrit Oostenbrug died at the Horling home in Hull, Tuesday of cancer of the stomach at an advanced age.
