Again a young man has replaced the temporary with the eternal, Gerrit Roetman, the Lord comforts the widow for whom he was a great support on the farm. Monday the deceased was buried. A very big crowd participated in the service.

On April 6, the Lord took to himself the son and brother Gerrit Roetman at the still young age of 20 years 4 months and 11 days. He died of an operation at Sioux City. Our loss is very heavy. This, however, comforted us that according to his testimony, we may hope for a blissful review. Neighbors and friends are thanked for participation and assistance.
