Died: July 1, 1991Frank VanDer Brink, 68, rural Doon, died Monday, July 1, 1991 in Sioux Center, Iowa, Community Hospital.
He was born April 6, 1923, in Sioux Center and married Johanna Kuiper December 11, 1945, in Doon. They farmed near Fairview, Maurice, Iowa, Rock Valley, Iowa and Canton before farming near Doon in 1965.
He was a member of the Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley.
Survivors include his wife; four sons: Edward and Duane, both of Rock Rapids, Iowa; John and Wayne of New Jersey; and Floyd, Doon; two daughters, Wilma VanDer Brink, Doon; and Mrs. Leonard (Freida) Rozenboom, Rock Rapids; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers: Case, Boyden, Iowa, Iowa; Joe and William both of Sioux Center; and Richard, Luverne, Minnesota; and one sister, Mrs. Richard (Hendrika) Van Hill, Wyoming, Michigan.
Services were held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, July 5 in the Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley.
