Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Gerrit Vander Brink, a long time resident of this vicinity, who passed away Saturday morning at the age of 75 years at her home after a short illness of two weeks. She recently had a fall at her home in which she suffered five fractured ribs and a lung puncture which caused her death.

Anna "Antje" (Feenstra) Vanden Brink leaves to mourn her passing her husband Gerrit, four sons, Jeff, Gerrit, Theodore and John, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held from the First Reformed Church with Reverend Henri Steunenberg officiating. Burial was made in the Boyden Cemetery under the direction of the Co-op Burial Association.
