Funeral services were held at the Reformed Church in Hospers May 19 for Cornelius "Case" Vanden Hul, 81, of Hospers, who died May 16 at the Sheldon Community Hospital.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Maurice Tysen and burial was made in the Hospers Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

Mr. Vanden Hul was born October 10, 1887, in The Netherlands. He came to the United States as a young man and was married in 1913 to Minnie Vogel at Sheldon. She died on September 19, 1920. He was married to Sadie Vander Wal at Hospers October 12, 1921. She died August 5, 1963.

Survivors include three sons, Johhn of Rapid City, South Dakota, Roy of Orange City and Ted of South Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. Maynard (Elizabeth) Vander Veen of Albert Lea, Minnesota; a brother, Gerrit, of Hospers; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
