Bruce Van Den Berg, 16 year old son of Darrell and Esther Van Den Berg of Rock Valley, died Monday, December 8 in a hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota of injuries suffered in a two car vehicle accident near Hull.

Services were held Thursday, December 11, in the Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley. The Reverend Robert Timmer officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.

Bruce was born October 1, 1970 in Rock Valley. He attended Rock Valley Christian School and currently was a sophomore at Western Christian High School in Hull where he was involved in junior varsity basketball and base ball.

Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Brandon of Hills, Minnesota, David of West Palm Beach, Florida and Jeffrey of Lantana, Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Tony (Rachel) Jansma of Inwood, and Lisa and Andrea, both at home and his maternal grandmother, Jennie Aberson of Archer.
