Funeral services were held at the Bethel Reformed Church in Sheldon June 17 for Jake D. Sneller, 68, real estate broker of Sheldon, who died at a Sioux City Hospital June 14. Services were conducted by the Reverend Harris Ver Kail and burial was made in East Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Sneller, the son of Dries and Hattie (Van Grevenhof) Sneller, was born in Sioux Center May 8, 1900. He was married to Janet Van Wyhe January 9, 1934, in Sioux Center and farmed in the Sheldon, Sioux Center and Lake Wilson, Minnesota, areas before moving to Sheldon in 1948.

Survivors are the widow; four sons - Vernon of Sioux City, Iowa, Marvin of Fargo, North Dakota, and Lowell and Lynn, both of Sheldon, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Willie Roemmich, of Sutherland, Iowa; a brother, Andrew, of Matlock, Iowa; and six grandchildren.
