The sad news passed around last Thursday that Helen Ruth, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Willert had passed away.

The little girl was taken sick with the influenza followed by pneumonia which resulted in her death. Everything was done to restore her health but all failed.

The funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the house with Reverend W. Baetke officiating. Interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery northwest of town. Thus over this happy home the shadow of a little grave has fallen. May God's purest angels guard her slumbers.

Mr. and Mrs. Willert have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
