A sad accident occurred Tuesday evening at about half past seven on the G. Willemsen farm, 5 miles north of town. His wife and two children survive him, besides a father, W.J. Willemsen, two brothers, William and Henry living north of town, and the following sisters: Mrs. John Slothouber, Mrs. J. Nieuwenhuis and Mrs. Oostenink at Hull; Mrs. Gerrit Slothouber, near this town; Mrs. Van Meveren at North Yakima, Wash.; and Mrs. Roggen at Sheldon. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the church at Middleburg.
