Mrs. Ralph Wiechers Of Lebanon Taken By Death

Mrs. Ralph Wiechers of Lebanon died at the Community Hospital in Hudson, Sunday, April 26, 1942 at 1:15 P.M. following a gall bladder operation.

Mrs. Wiechers had been at the hospital for three days. She was 49 years old at the time of her death, and had been quite well up until her recent operation.

Mrs. Miena G. "Minnie" Wiechers, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Harmelink and was born at Newkirk January 24, 1893. She married Ralph Wiechers in 1914.

Funeral services conducted by the Reverend Mr. William Heinsma were held at the Wiechers home, 11½ miles west of Sioux Center at 1:15. At 2 o'clock services were held at the Lebanon Christian Reformed Church. Pallbearers were members of the church board, and interment was at the Lebanon Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, and one son, John. She also leaves five brothers, Charles Harmelink, Sanborn, Joe Harmelink, Spirit Lake; Simon Harmelink, Alton; Henry Harmelink, Orange City; Cornie Harmelink, Maurice; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Ed Van Tubergen, Newkirk; Mrs. Sam Post, Sheldon; Miss Dorothy Harmelink of Orange City.
