Gracie Wheeler, the 12 year old daughter of Dealton and Vina (Garrett) Wheeler, died last Thursday after an illness of ten days from diphtheria. Owing to the nature of the disease no funeral services where held and only a few relatives and friends followed the remains to the grave. The remains were interred in the Ireton Cemetery Friday.

Gracie was a bright, lovable child and her death is a sad blow to her parents. The sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved ones in their deep sorrow.
