Died: October 21, 1921Mike H. "Minne" Westra, Veteran Blacksmith, Passes on - Funeral Monday.
Mike Westra, veteran Orange City blacksmith and formerly thresher man for many years in this vicinity, died at his Orange City home Wednesday after a long illness.
The funeral will be held next Monday.
Mike Westra, son of Hendrik and Jantje (Roffel) Westra, was born January 12, 1868. He married Mary Groen in 1894.
He was laid to rest at West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City, Sioux County, Iowa.
