Ebe "Aebe" S. Westra died Tuesday night at about 2:30 in the morning, at the age of 70 years and 4 months.

Deceased was born at Trummnarum, Friesland, the Netherlands. He was united in marriage at Sexbierum, Friesland, to Mrs. Dirkje (Galema) Dykstra, then a widow, in 1884.

The family came to this country in 1889 and lived since that time on a property north of town.

Mr. Westra was elder in the Christian Reformed Church. During many years he sold vegetables to the people.

He is survived by his wife and two children; Theological student, Isaac Westra at Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Mrs. C. Bonnes at Ocheyedan, also a stepson, William Dykstra, at Perkins and a sister, Mrs. J. Maarsma, in this town.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at one o’clock at the house and at 2 o’clock in the Christian Reformed Church.
