Fanny Marie Wegter was born on March 23rd, 1919, on a farm southwest of Boyden. At the age of five years she moved, with her parents, to the home place northeast of Hull, where she resided until the time of her death.

She was a student at the Hillside School and was always a faithful attendant at Catechism and Sunday School at the First Reformed Church at Hull, and a baptized member of the Boyden Church.

She leaves to mourn her loss her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Gerrit Wegter of Hull; two sisters, Johanna and Esther at home; and four brothers - Egbert of Sanborn; and Peter, Wilbur, and Gerald, at home. She is also survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Langstraat of Boyden.

Just as we go to press, we hear that Fannie, aged 17 years, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Wegter, living northeast of Hull, had taken her life by going into the garage and firing a charge from a shot gun into her head. She had been ill and in failing health for some time and this may have been the cause of the act.
