He was joined in holy marriage to Madelene Koele on Dec 20, 1935. To this union were born two children a daughter dying in infancy, and a son Timmy Dale, now ll years.
He made confession of his faith in the Christian Reformed Church of Hull on Oct 20, 1935. He died Oct 31 1953 at the age of 37 years.
He is survived by his wife and son, also his parents Mr. and Mrs. Tim Rens, a brother Mr. Ray Rens and a host of relatives and friends.

Being in a nervous condition at the age of 28, he was taken to the Mayo Clinic at Rochester, MN where his disease was diagnosed a “Huntingtons’ Charea” which is a very rare disease in the blood stream affecting the nerves, which was also incurable. With the help of the family he was able to sit in a rocker, although he had to be fed and dressed for two years. The last week he lived he was bedfast. The many years of his sickness he was always kind and never complained. We are all assumed he was asleep in Jesus.
