MRS. AR1E REEKERS Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church in Orange City Monday, May 5, for Mrs. Arle Reekers, 78, of Orange City, who died at her home May 3. Services were conducted by the Rev. R. Van Heukelom and burial was made in West Lawn cemetery at Orange City. Mrs. Reekers, the former Johanna Pietenpol, was born May 28, 1890, at Orange City. She was married to Arie Reekers February 22, 1912, at Orange City. The couple farmed in the Orange City area until 1946. He died in March of that year and Mrs. Reekers had since made her home in Orange City. Survivors include two sons, John and Arthur, both of Orange City, and four grandchildren.

Johanna was the daughter of Lambertus Pietenpol and Attje De Vries.
