Miss Magdalene Waanders, 81, of Hospers passed away November 21 at the Orange City Municipal Hospital.

Services were held Friday, November 24, at 10:30 A.M. in the Christian Reformed Church of Hospers, Iowa, with Dr. P.Y. De Jong officiating. Burial was in the Hospers Cemetery with arrangements made by Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sheldon.

Miss Waanders was born July 18, 1908 in Hospers, Iowa. She was the daughter of John and Jennie (Kreykes) Waanders. She attended Hospers Christian School and graduated from Hospers High School. She was a member of the Hospers Christian Reformed Church and the Priscilla Society.

She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Doores Waanders of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mrs. Johanna Venema of Hospers, Mrs. Wilhelmine Swets of Hospers, William Waanders of Grand Rapids, Michigan, John Waanders of Hospers, and Arie Waanders of Hanford, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Reka (Mrs. Pete Yonker), two infant brothers, and one infant sister and one sister-in-law Grada (Mrs. Doores Waanders).
