Post nee’ Visser born 23 Feb 1861 Oosterbierum, Friesland, Netherlands died Dec 1940 (That date is in error is her husband death date) She died May 3, 1943 at Orange City IA buried in West Lawn Cemetery Orange City IA. Wife of William S. Post, children listed were Sadie Pruissen, Jessie Zigtema, and Sam Post. (See the obit of William Post 1858-1940)

Mrs. William Post, 82, Orange City died Monday night in the local hospital of old age and a complication of diseases. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Pioneer Home and at 1:30 in the First Reformed church with Rev. H. Colenbrander officiating. Burial will be in the Orange City cemetery with the Van Etten Funeral Service in charge.
Mrs. Post was born in Oosterbierum Friesland. In 1882 she was married to Wm. Post and to this union were born 5 children. One child died in infancy in the Netherland and Hattie Mrs. Gerrit Kooistra died June 30, 1926 in Ocheyedan.
In 1907, the family came to America landing in Chicago where they lived for 7 years. Then thy moved to Ocheyedan for 3 years and they they came to Orange City where they lived ever since. Mr. Post died in 1940 and it was then that Mrs. Post took up her residence in the Pioneer Home.
Surviving are Mrs. Henry Zigtema and Sam Post of Orange City and Mrs. Gerrit Pruissen of Hinckley MN.

Watse was the son of Sytse Watses Post and Jaike Harmens Emmema, Tettje was the daughter of Simon Sybrens Visser and Hinke Dirks Visser. They were married August 5, 1882 at Barradeel, Friesland, Netherlands
