Former City Osteopath Dies In Cedar Falls Dr. Albert W. Peterson, 89, of Cedar Falls and formerly an osteopath in Howard on for 56 years, died last Saturday at a Cedar Falls nursing home. Funeral services were held in llawardeiv at the First Baptist church Tuesday, December 19, with Rev. Myrle Honner officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of Dow Funeral Home. Mrs. Pete Sinkey was organist. Casket bearers were Clarence Anderson, Virgil Peterson, Myron Peterson, James Montzer, Edgar Nicholson, and David Becker. 'Services were also held Monday at the Western Home in Cedar Falls.

Dr. Peterson was born January 21, 1878, in Union county, South Dakota. He married Ida R. Erford in January, 1900, in Greenview, Illinois. She preceded him in death in 1941. He practiced in Hawarden from 1901 to 1957, when he moved to Cedar Falls. He was a life member of the Iowa Osteopathic Association and the American Association. He was a former deacon and trustee- of the Hawarden Baptist church.

Survivors include a son, Everett, of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Miss Evelyn Peterson of Waterloo, and a brother, Herbert, of Valentine, Nebraska.
