Obituary Glen Peebles Glen Peebles, 68, Le Mars, who lived at Armel Acres, died Tuesday (June 8, 1976) at St. Luke medical center, Sioux City, after a 3-week illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Luedtke funeral home with Rev. Eugene Berreth officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery, Ireton, under direction of the Luedtke funeral home. Mr. Peebles was born Aug. 20, 1908, near Craig in Plymouth county to Jess and Maude Phillips Peebles. He had resided several years in Merrill and then in Le Mars. He had been employed by the Great Northern railroad. Survivors are a son Edward in California; a brother Ralph, Chandler, Ariz.; and two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Smith and Mrs. Donald Elliott) both of Le Mars. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Byron and a sister Maxine.
