Orange City Rites For H. Van Stryland Following an illness suffered from a stroke Thursday evening. Henry Van Stryland, 76, of Orange City, passed away at the Grossmann Hospital Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.

Born in the Netherlands the departed came to America with his parents at the age of 10. The family settled at Boyden later moving to a farm north of Orange City,

Mr. Van Stryland was married to Jeanette Van Roekel in 1927 and continued living on the farm.

Surviving besides his widow is one sister, Gertrude (Mrs. John Van Roekel) of Boyden. His brother, Willem Van Stryland passed away in December , 1954. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Van Stryland home and at the First Ref. Church of Orange City, with Rev . H. Colenbrander officiating. The Van Etten Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements. Interment was made In the local cemetery .
