Michael Kilburg, a former resident of Ireton, died at his hone in Le Mars last week Sunday. He was born in Jackson county in 1871, came to Ireton in the early eighties with his parents and lived here for several years. His father conducted a general store in the building now occupied by E. W. Black and Jno. Eggers and will be well remembered by many of the older residents. The family sold out and left Ireton about 1888 since which time they made their home in various places but mostly in LeMars. Mike was a great sufferer from disease for several years past and has traveled much in search of relief, spending much time in the south and in Colorado and Montana. He was married in 1914 to Miss Alvina Sudmeyer, who survives him as do his parents and one brother, Joseph. The funeral was held last Wednesday from St, Joseph's church in LeMars.
