Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Dickman nee Umland, 43, who passed away Wednesday at the Sheldon hospital after a lingering illness, were held Monday at St. John's Lutheran church near Boyden. Rev. P. A. Hinrichs officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Dickman was born July 27, 1915, at Boyden. She lived in and round Boyden her entire life, until recently when the family moved to Bigelow, Minn. Surviving are the widower, Alvin; one daughter, Judy Ann; three sons, Richard, Ronald and Donald Lee, all at home; five sisters, Miss Kate Umlind of Boyden, Mrs. John Henning of Rushmore, Minn., Mrs. Howard Claassen of Morris, Minn., Mrs. Harry Gibble of Alberta, Minn., and Mrs. Wm. Claassen of Choikoi, Minn; five brothers, Pete of Boyden, Herman, John and Claus all of Deer Creek and William of Idaho.
