Koster, Johanna 1871-1878 Daughter of Jacob Koster and Maartje De Mots

See the Bio section on this site for the pioneer life story of her family. She died in a prairie fire in 1878. She was the first burial in the Sioux Center cemetery. The book ‘The Story of Sioux County’ by Charles Dyke gives a very vivid description of the death of Johanna
