Funeral services were held at the ' Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley at '' 1:30 p. m, today (Thursday) for Henry J. Kosters, 80, from Rock Valley, who died at the Rock Valley hospital November 10 following a lengthy illness. Services were conducted by the Rev. Ralph G, Ten Clay of the First Reformed, church of Rock Valley and burial was made in Valley View cemetery.
Kosters was born June 16, 1889 in Sioux Center. He was married to (second wife) Gertrude Brouwer December 4, 1951 at Canton, S. D. Survivors include the widow; three sons, Hein of Rock Valley, Hessel of Saigon, South Vietnam, and William of Sibley; a daughter, Mrs. Ben Roberts, of Sierra Leone, Africa; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
