Sip Starkenberg, who passed away at Sibley Saturday was buried at Orange City Tuesday.

Funeral services were held at Sibley.

Sip Starkenberg died Saturday morning at the age of 63, at his home at Sibley. He had been confined to his home for 5 months due to cancer.

Surviving him are his widow, Annigje (Anna Van Gelder) Starkenburg and 4 sons and 4 daughters.

Funeral services were held at Sibley Tuesday afternoon and interment was made in the Orange City Cemetery.

Sike "Sip" Starkenburg was the son of Jan and Ankje ((Sipma) Starkenburg.
