Funeral service will be held on Friday September 6 for Gustave Sohl, 65, who died as the result of a stroke on Monday afternoon.

Services will be held at 1 o'clock at the home and at 1:30 o'clock at the St. John's Lutheran Church.

When Gustave J. Sohl was born on September 7, 1881, in Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany, his father, Johan, was 43 and his mother, Minnie, was 36. He married Anna K. Lutjens on April 14, 1909, in Boyden, Iowa. They had three children during their marriage. He died on September 2, 1946, in Boyden, Iowa, at the age of 64, and was buried at St. John Cemetery, Boyden, Sioux County, Iowa.
