Note: In a family report on ancestry.com parents were Bernard ‘Ben’ McDermott 1864-1902 and Malinda G. Schutz 1866-1933 , he died Dec 31, 1902 Clarinda Ia and buried Granville IA. The report states that Bernard Joseph 1896-1897 and Roy Joseph 1898 were their children as well as two other children as mentioned in the obit of the father Bernard ‘Ben’ McDermott 1864-1902.
