Mc Cabe, Rose born 14 Apr 1875 died 18 Aug 1878 buried in St. Joseph’s cemetery Hull IA.

1880 census has Mathew Mc Cabe born about 1844 IL living in Sheridan Sioux IA wife Hannah Mc Cabe born about 1854 New York. Children were Ann 10, Ellen 8 and Mary 2.

Rose could well have been a daughter of them. See the obit of Hannah Mrs. Matthew 1853-1934 for further family details.

Note: From a report on ancestry.com (by others) Rose is listed as a child born Nov 1878 in IA to Matthew Patrick Mc Cabe born 1842 died 1925 Sheldon Ia. He married Hannorah Elizabeth Weir on Sept 16, 1868 Rochester MN. Other of their children were – Anna, Ellen, Rose, Mary, Kate, Thresa, Ethel and Matthew.
