1885 Iowa Census of Rock, Sioux, IA Jannett Mc Arthur born about 1812 Scotland, widow, 73 years of age and son Alexander McArthur age 40.

Note: From a family report found on ancestry.com (by others) Her husband may have been Alexander McArthur 1807-1845. She was born Genett Janet H. Campbell born on August 14, 1808 She died about 1890 in Iowa. In 1885 she was living in Rock, Sioux county IA.
