Note: in a report on ancestry.com Hazel Emma Birney January 10, 1903 Washington Co. IA. She married Reimann Doyle Mayer June 21, 1922 and they had three children. She died 1975 and is buried in Hull IA. Reimann Mayer born 1896 Sioux county IA died Aug 5, 1985 in Colorado, he is listed on the grave stone with Hazel.

In the 1940 census the family was living in Wilson Tsp Osceola IA children listed were Max, Shirley, and Norma.
