From the Sioux Center News, June 22, 1933:

South Dakota Woman Buried Here

Mrs. William Vreeman of Platte, So. Dak. passed away suddenly of a heart attack at her home last week. The church funeral was held in Platte, So. Dak. Friday afternoon and the body was then driven to Sioux Center. The funeral here was held at 7:45. Rev. Ypma officiated.

Mrs. Vreeman, nee Lubby [i.e., Libby] Wiechers, is well remembered in this community. She has two brothers and one sister living west of Sioux Center, and the Vreeman family themselves lived there until eight years ago.

Her husband and three children survive. Garrit and Henrietta the two oldest children are married. John, now 21 years old is still at home.
