Funeral services were held Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church for Joseph Schuster, 56, who passed away suddenly of a heart attack at his home south of Granville, Friday evening.

He was born June 2, 1906 and resided with his parents on a farm near Granville. He was married February 5, 1929, to Helen Reith at Granville and entered into farming.

Survivors are the widow; son, Orville, two daughters, Jo Ann, Mrs. Mark Plathe of Granville and Marlene at home and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mrs. Jack Hemp and two infant sons.

Reverend N.J. Becker officiated at the Requiem Mass. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
