Funeral services were held for Mrs. Dick Schuller Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home and at 1:30 at the First Reformed Church of Maurice with Reverend Roggen officiating. Mrs. Schuller passed away Saturday afternoon at an Orange City Hospital following a recent operation. She was 66 years of age.

Johanna Kots, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Kots, was born on April 9 in Gelderland, The Netherlands, 1880. At the age of 3 years she came with her parents to America and settled in Maurice. On January 26, 1910 she was married to Dick Schuller. They lived in Maurice for six years and then moved to a farm west of town. To this couple six children were born, and of these two sons died in infancy.

Surviving her are the widower and four children: Henrietta, Mrs. Rhodus De Jager of Maurice; Ada and Richard at home; and Geraldine, Mrs. Art Staatema of Ireton. There are seven grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters: Minnie (Mrs. Arie Punt), Dena (Mrs. Gerrit Grotenhuis) and Anna (Mrs. Gerrit Fikse) all of Orange City.

Three brothers preceded her in death, namely Reverend Will Kots, Ben and Henry. Mrs. Schuller was a faithful member of the First Reformed Church, and of the Ladies Missionary Society where she will be sorely missed. Interment took place in the Sherman Township Cemetery in the family plot.
