Funeral services will be held at the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center at 1:30 P.M. Friday, March 23, for William A. Schuiteman, 79, retired farmer and lifelong resident of this vicinity, who died at a Sioux City Hospital March 19. Services were conducted by the Reverend Jack Boerigter and burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery here under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.

Mr. Schuiteman was born in Sioux Center September 27, 1893. He married the former Dena Kempers at Hull May 8, 1919. She preceded him in death on December 28, 1972.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Melvin of Sioux Center; and one daughter, Mrs. Gerrit Meyer (Anna) of Orange City; 16 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

Mr. Schuiteman was a World War I veteran. He entered the service in December of 1917 and returned to Sioux Center upon receiving his discharge after the Armistice.
