Note: A report on ancestry..com (by others) lists Jacob ‘Jake’ Mantel Jr. born Dec 29, 1883 in Bovenkarspel Noord Holland Netherlands son of Asfje Werys and Jacob Mantel. He married Marijtje ‘Marie’ Koning on Feb 26 1908 in Sioux co. IA. He died Oct 7, 1944 at Doon IA and is buried in Ireton IA.
