1900 census lists Hattie Kreykes born Oct 1874 Michigan lived in Sheldon IA, husb: John S. born Mar 1862, they had children John William 7, Freddie 3 and Jennie 1 at the time.
In the August 7, 1947 Alton democrat an article listed that some people had attended the funeral of Mrs. John Kreykes of Sheldon. No obituary was readily found.
