Note: This is believed to be John Jacob Koolbeck born Dec 7, 1867 Pella IA son of Jacob John Koolbeck and Flora Ritskes Sipma. He was married to Martje Maggie Zorgdrager on Jan 25, 1889. He died young on April 11, 1895 Hospers IA at 27 years of age. His two children were Nellie Melinda 1890 and Jacob Clarence 1892 Hospers.

John J. Koolbeek, whom we reported last week as recovering from his sickness, got rapidly worse the fore part of this week. Everything human power was done for him, but he died Wednesday evening, aged 26 years. Mr. Koolbeek was a kindhearted, industrious young man and his untimely death has cast a gloom over the entire community. A wife and two little children survive him We sympathize with the bereaved relatives. The funeral will be held from the Reformed church, Saturday
