Dores J. Riedeman, 65, Alton who had a dental practice in Hospers for many years, died Tuesday at an Orange City hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday at the Alton Reformed Church. Burial was made in the Nassau Township Cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home of Orange City.

Dr. Riedeman, the son of Herman and Dena (Rexwinkel) Riedeman, was born August 6, 1906, at Alton. He was a 1924 Alton High School graduate. He was graduated from the University of Iowa, as a dental surgeon in 1929. He opened his practice at Hospers and continued working there until retiring six years ago.

He was a member of the Iowa Dental Association and the Alton Reformed Church. He served with the U.S. Air Force for four years.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Richard (Jeanette) H. Cambier of Alton, two brothers, William H. of Waupun, Wisconsin, and Raymond J. of Sanborn, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
