Note: Ancestry.com report (by others) has John W. Kelly born Nov 1834 in New York the son of Timothy Kelly and Mary Ann O’Malley. John married Martha Bridget Boland on August 10, 1856 in Joliet, IL. They had three children, he died April 1, 1902 at Clarinda IA. Children: Anastatia 1857-1931 Illinois, she married Charles Allen, Mary E. 1863 – 1879 Primghar, Kittie M. 1872-1891 Two latter buried the same Hospers cemetery.

The WPA cemetery index of Sioux county lists J. W. Kelly as buried in St. Anthony’s cemetery (no dates) at Hospers IA. It would make sense he was buried by his wife Martha B. Kelly who died 1896 and is buried in St. Anthony’s cemetery Hospers IA.
