MRS. JOHN H. REMACLE GOES TO FAR BOURNE--FIVE CHILDREN SURVIVE THEIR MOTHER--LAID TO REST AT HOSPERS ON MONDAY

Mrs. John H. Remacle nee Josephine Block, passed away beyond at her home on Thursday evening October 23 at 10:30 at Hospers at the age of 52 years, 11 months and 6 days. Mrs. Remacle had been in poor health for the last two years, but death came very suddenly Thursday evening. The last words she spoke were”Lord not my will but thy will be done,” and passed away with the sweet words on her lips, Jesus Mary Joseph.

Mrs. Remacle was a kind and faithful neighbor, a loving wife and mother she was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. She also was a faithful member of St. Anthony’s Church. Deceased was born November 17, 1871 at Haringen, Luxemburg and at the age of twelve came to America with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Block. On February 17th, 1895 she was joined in matrimony to John H. Remacle. This union was blessed with six children; one daughter Marie died in infancy. She leaves besides her husband, three sons and two daughters; Katherine, and Veronica; John, Lawrence, and Aloysius all at home

Deceased id also by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were conducted at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Monday morning at 9:30. Requiem Mass was celebrated by Father Beaumier assisted by Father Dries and Father Roder. The remains were laid to rest at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
