Orville F. Reimers, 67, of Boyden died Wednesday, February 2, at the Northwest Iowa Health Center in Sheldon. Funeral services were held Friday, February 4, at the United Presbyterian Church of Boyden with the Reverend Walter Disch and Reverend John Goertz officiating. Arrangements were by the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Boyden.

Orville Fred Reimers born March 15, 1926, at Boyden, the son of Fred and Eunice Catherine (Horn) Reimers. He graduated from the Boyden High School and served in the United States Army in Germany after World War II. He farmed at Boyden with his parents most of his life.

Survivors include his mother, Eunice Reimers, of Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull; two aunts, Esther Slykhuis and Hermina Horn, both of Boyden; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.
