Marion L. Reimers, 57, of Boyden died Monday, January 25, in a hospital in Sioux Falls after a short illness.

Services were held Friday in the United Presbyterian Church in Boyden with the Reverend Ray Corlew officiating. Burial was in the Boyden Cemetery with military rites conducted by the American Legion of Boyden.

Mr. Reimers, son of William and Christine (Schildhauer) Reimers, was born December 4, 1930 in Boyden. He married Joan Nieuwendorp January 19, 1956, in Boyden. A truck driver, he drove for 15 years for Farmers Feed and Supply of Boyden and the last 10 years with American Freight of Sioux Falls.

Mr. Reimers was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Darwin (Susan) Huls of Boyden; two sons, Gary of Phoenix, Arizona and Michael of West Palm Beach, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Leonard (Leona) De Vries of Bigelow, Minnesota; two brothers, Vernon of Boyden and Arthur of Concord, California and four grandchildren.
